Fight for Less Distractions in 2016

at this month’s No BS Marketing Meeting, we’re going to give you a complete review of the best marketing strategies and tactics we taught in 2015 to give you a head start on making 2016 your best year yet!

One extremely important tactic we covered this year, but will omit for this month’s meeting because we have bigger lessons to teach is: Eliminate Distractions.
Take a moment and think about…
  • How much time you spent checking, reading, and replying to email unimportant emails?
  • How many times you stopped what you were doing to check your phone when it beeped or buzzed?
  • How many hours you spent on creeping on social media or surfing the web?
These little things add up to BIG amounts of time when it’s all said and done. That’s why I believe you need to FIGHT for less distractions and more productive time in 2016.
Think about this for a minute:
On a daily basis, if you spend just 30 unproductive minutes with email,  30 unprofitable minutes with social media, and check your phone 6 times (wasting 5 minutes of productive work time each time you checked it because you had to get back in the zone)…
You’d end up wasting 90 minutes a day…7.5 hours per week…30 hours per month…360 hours per year!
Yikes! That’s an equivalent of WORKING 12-HOUR DAYS FOR ONE FULL MONTH!!!
Can you afford to lose that much time?
Here’s a better question: Wouldn’t it be great if you could take that time off each year?
You could….and can…if you fight for your time. That’s how important eliminating distractions are.
And that’s a bonus for you because we’re not even going to cover that topic this month. We have bigger fish to fry (though this topic is enormously powerful!).
On Tuesday, December 15th, we’re going to give you a complete review the our BEST strategies and tactics, so you can hit the ground RUNNING in 2016.
Ok, that’s all for today. Have a great weekend and I’ll talk to you on Tuesday!
Happy Holidays!
Becky
